I can say, for example, that's why Iensâ isn't around as much as she used to be.
I agree with Deet that more legislative or constitutional amendments are NOT the answer. We have proved this by experiment over the last year or two. I believe that there is no longer anything wrong with this Republic that legislation can fix. Only ACTIVITY, in a Talossan format, of WHATEVER nature - the more silly the better, IMHO. There are NO legislative barriers to any such activity now - the only barriers are our own lack of motivation and energy.
I call upon the new Deputies to bring back the good old Talossan tradition of passing ridiculous laws full of pompous verbiage which only have a tangential relationship with reality. It is a hard law of politics that the more frivolous the issue, the more empassioned the debate - I look forward to knock-down-drag-out debates about crap that really, really doesn't matter.
(Before Deet crows that I am being converted to classic Peculiarist positions, I should retort that the door swings both ways. The Peculiarist candidate in the current election actually endorsed the ZRT programme, so perhaps we're all on the same side these days! ;-)
As Secretary of State, I see my job as looking after the "serious business" aspects of Talossa - the details of the legal system and the conduct of elections. But I don't see why everyone else shouldn't be frivolous and self-indulgent as all get out. Go for it, guys.
(LULZ is a corruption of LOL, which stands for Laugh Out Loud.)
