| la garçâ malpadert Group: admins (4379 posts total) (last post: March 13, 2008 - 16:29) Citizen #22: Miestrâ Schivâ | The next step in counting the votes is to redistribute the surplus votes (actual vote divided by how much they needed to win) of the winning candidates, in the order of their first preference votes (so, the biggest surplus gets distributed first). As we had a tie for first place between Gjermund Higraff and Eiric Börnatfiglheu, the DemoChoice voting software "flipped a coin" and redistributed Gjermund's surplus first. As you will see, Gjermund's surplus split evenly between the other two ZRT candidates, Txec dàl Már and Davïu Rôibardét. None of it went to the Blue Wave. Seeing as the redistributed surplus votes are just enough to bring Txec dàl Már up to the quota, I declare Txec dàl Már (ZRT) to have won the fourth seat in the Chamber of Deputies on the second round of counting. The battle for the last seat is still open between Davïu and GV. The next step will be to redistribute Eiric's surplus votes.
