These are your remarks, are they not?

That, it seems, is a challenge. To imply that you could defeat a Florenican "Tamorán" with your hands behind your back is foolish. For a true warrior would never adopt that stance nor take that challenge, to fight a man who is unable to defend. It would prove nothing of his skill.

These words are those of a madman. Rambling words with no meaning. Not only do you make yourself defenseless with your "brave" stance, you show a side of madness. If all your "brave Cézembreans" are like to you, brazen and foolish, Florencians wouldn't waste their time and effort taking up arms to meet you.
And if you were to meet us, on our ground, we would, as Sir Thomas Parkyns once said, "..laugh at small indignities, and as with the Mastiff Dog, rather than bite, lift up his leg and only piss upon the little wafling yelping curs in contempt." |
