It is with some degree of alarm that I come to you today regarding our destiny of Greater Maricopa.
It seems that some upstart in Florencia resists our plans for some reason which eludes me. He claims that Florencian culture needs to be defended. While this is true I had no idea that Florencia had one to defend or even a government with which to defend it.
We Maricopans have no desire whatsoever to quash other cultures. My fellow citizens, you know this. We embrace all the cultures which make up the great Talossan Republic. However we must announce to the world that Maricopans are, in deed and in fact, historically the saviors of this Republic in times of crisis. Without the valiant efforts of Maricopans of the past the Republic would not even exist. Even to this good day 40% of the CoD is made up of Maricopans. We make up 60% of the ministers. We have always served this great country to the utmost of our abilities and we always will! Even the artistic stunt of your leader spurred a rather reluctant Chamber to vote for a Seneschal.
We have a plan and we have a passion. Our actions will revive the Republic and without us the Republic might crumble. MARICOPA MUST EXPAND! Maricopan activism is essential to the future of the Republic.
This upstart must be watched. Also if the Immigration Minister is reading this we need to get referendums going so I can vote both of them into the Republic. Please Maricopans be careful when travelling in Florencia.
