Miestrâ Schivâ | Okie-dokie - since the Gubner seems to have something better to do (perhaps finding hiding places for refugees from the defeated Cézembre rebellion), I will convene the General Assembly of the Province of Maricopa to debate the following:
1. The General Assembly of the Province of Maricopa hereby ratifies the Triple-M Provincial Merger Bill, and hereby reconstitutes itself as the General Assembly of Great Southern Province.
2. The former provinces of Maricopa, Maritiimi and Pórt Maxhestic will continue to exist as Districts within Great Southern Province. They shall have internal-self government, subject to veto by this General Assembly.
3. Any District can, by a petition of 2/3 of its residents, apply to the Federal Parlamînt to secede from Great Southern Province resume its status as a full Province. The General Assembly shall not hinder any such process.
(Note to Eric: great to have you on board, but until this measure passes the Provincial merger isn't actually completed and you don't get a vote in this. Although feel free to comment.)
