That puts 2 of the 3 Justices in agreement.

Not to my knowledge. Good question.

Those are great questions and ones that need to be sorted out in order to correct problems like this from recurring. Me thinks that some specific laws about media ads need to be looked at for our election commission rules.

In the Kingdom we relied on people's future intentions to do the right thing in a Talossan sense.
After having witnessed the super nova that took place there, it might be in the Republic's best interest to look at all of our unwritten agreements with folks like Martin and J.P. and come up with some guidelines, alternatives, or purchases to pre-empt more issues like this from taking place.

In all honesty, speaking as both a Justice and a citizen I think we need to persue the recommendations that have been suggested by Andy and others to some form of group ownership over these domains by the citizens. J.P. and Martin have been far too kind in their public service of establishing and maintaining these for us, but it is really the people of Talossa who should be bearing the financial and editorial burdens of these mediums.

That's not to say that JP and Martin wouldn't still be doing what they are doing as hosts, its just that they would be funded and part of a RCC-Republic Communications Commission which would still be independent of the Gov't.:-)
