Just keeping this chamber active for the time being.

I received a call from my old friend D. Lorentz a few days ago. We've shared a few e-mails over the past several months but his was our first phone call in years. Most of it was catching up with what we were doing, but I would be lying if I said we didn't discuss anything Talossan.

Lorentz was actually replying to an e-mail I sent to him after his landmark court decision ruling in favor of the Kingdom's CLP party. I congratulated him on making a ruling according to what was written and not what was expected by an old friend of the former king. I also questioned why he didn't cite the actual articles used in his decision. Madison used this lack of protocol to undermine his loss and the MN's probable loss of control of the Kingdom in the next election.

Dan's response to these allegations was that "he could have cited articles" but the loose nature with which most Kingdom law was practiced didn't warrant it. He stated that his key point of the difference between "consent" and "consult" was what made this ruling. Dan did cite a few dictionaries in his decision. He also mentioned that after seeing the volume of communication in the form of e-mails and Witt posts that took place between the CLP leadership and the King and the MN, that their case was rendered pretty sterile.

Dan also mentioned the haste in which he had to make the decision given the elections and his busy schedule. He also noted that even with that evidence, he still he wanted to do something to unify rather than divide, but first he had to be true to the Org-Law.

Rather sadly, after the ruling Madison called Lorentz and told him that he finally killed Talossa like he promised he would do so many years ago.

You've got to be kidding Ben.

You'd think after most of his devout pundits bailed on him he would recognize that he is the one who killed Talossa, but only for himself.

Apparently Ben can never step back from contolling things long enough to recognize that around the Internet there are people in both hemispheres, in many nations who not only know about Talossa, but are involved with it on many different levels.

He's created a language that people would love to learn how to speak, but he considers them the wrong kind of people and continues to deny access to it. Most importantly, he has people who would love to continue to tap into his creative genius, but once again they have to do things his way, and his way alone.

What a waste.
