I would use the word "pouvoir" in French, which might be the ethymological origin of "pëvarë". The problem is that I have to see Talossan through the filter of yet another foreign language, English, which then might block my road to Talossan. That is, I need your advice. ;-)

From a purely linguistic point of view, I think pëvarë is closer to what you're getting at. I dream that one day there will be Talossan-French and Talossan-German grammars and dictionaries.

I don't know what is the intention, but speaking from a "romance speaker" prospective, I suggesto to don't use it because in the romance languages it means "overbearingness, arrogance"
