More than half the election was over in the first two days - unsurprising. But the amount of people who kept it to the last minute are a bit of a surprise. In fact, those final three voters might have swung the election. Bloody buggering hell. Maybe releasing the last paragraph of the manifesto on the last day of the election was a decisive problem after all.

I do note that there was an entire week with no-one voting. Is this an argument for cutting the voting period to one week?

Neither, nor. Maybe we'd have to ask the electors, if they remember an election which they would have missed if the voting period was only one week.

But we'll have to take a look at the campaigning side, too. How many of the candidates would have been missing the "hot phase" of a campaign, if the voting period would be only one week?

I think it's easy to miss one week; two weeks may be a long time, but it suits our part-time Talossan life well.

I don't know. It would seem to be a case but maybe the hard campaigning in the last week made more of an impact than I would have thought.
