Firstly: by votes of 6-3 and 6-1 respectively, amendments 10 and 11 are both passed. The new Third Draft of the Constitution will be up quite soon.
Secondly: I am going to allow one week for anyone who really thinks we need a Third Round of amendments. But let's make this clear. If one week from now I don't have any amendments raised and seconded in this Convention, the amendment procedure is finished and we go back to the Committee to scan for loopholes, check typos etc. I will also not accept any amendments which are substantively similar to things rejected in previous rounds of voting; and I will not accept amendments which concern typos, wording and other non-substantive matters.
So: if you have a real problem with the Third Draft text, write it up as an amendment, and get it posted here before this time next week. If you notice some typos or some wording that you think is incorrect, simply tell us here and the Committee will deal with your points during the final phase.
