Miestrâ Schivâ | Here is what will happen from now.
1) I will go home tonight and, after QI#4 is out, I will make minor changes to topics Nine and Ten along the lines suggested by citizens Válcadác'h and Furxhéir. We will then have a First Complete Draft.
2) I will post this First Complete Draft on this forum, as well as sending a copy by email to all members of the Committee. At that stage, I will open two weeks of debate for wording and technical issues only within the Committee. Note that we will not discuss any substantive issues at this stage - we only want to deal with "nitpicky" issues at this stage, rather than real ones.
3) When all members of the Committee have indicated their satisfaction with the text - or after two weeks, whichever comes first - I will repost the Corrected Complete Draft on this Forum, and officially open the Convention to all citizens. At that stage, everything will once more be up for grabs. (If the Committee hasn't reached unanimity after two weeks, we'll take a vote on any outstanding issues.)
Chris apparently has some problems with the wording and structure of the document as it stands. I will post something he said to me on this topic in his QI interview, but which I had to cut for reasons of space, in this Convention tonight.
If any Committeemember has any problems with this plan, now's the time to tell me.
