We are fighting over something that will not change anything for better or worse. Its like Calvin Ball, but you're actually serious about it. I wish someone (errmmmmmm..... us) could take our marbles and go home, so we can utilize our limited time for more productive things.
We can have the same claims to the same provinces and lands as the Kingdom and it will not change a thing for anyone. This will only result in 'This is my side.' - 'No its my side.' arguments which resolve nothing but wasting our precious thoughts and time.
Just my humble Progressive opinion ("The Illusions tha History Hath Wrought")
I was just thinking....
During the Republic's secession did all (or a majority) of the citizens of the seceeded provinces approve of the secession from the Kingdom?
