(last post: March 24, 2008 - 14:06) | i would like to start the etymological dictionary project along with orthographic reform proposal based on it.
i am aware of almost all pros and cons of any orthographic reform starting from practical aspects like loss of intelligibility of old texts, ending in socio-cultural aspects of braking tradition. but... but i feel something must be done as i see just too much of fashion, mannerism and impragmatism in current talossan language. the first part of the project is unquestionably general and is supposed to do good. the second is unintentionally controversial and should be called strictly "reform proposal". thus, it should be based on combination of thorough etymological and phonological study.
anyone interested here to join both or just one of them?
