I should point out to this Chamber that talossa.com, our main repository not only of propaganda but of our National Registry of Law and other vital information, is still down, with the ongoing bandwith issue.
As the government now has effective control of the domain name, would it be possible at minimum to redirect the domain name to a page inciting visitors to continue to this forum, apologising for the unavailability of the information they are seeking?
We could wait, Tuisca'ch, for a referendum to tie this in a bow, and with regards to the Wittenberg forum, I respect the point of view that suggests that this is the correct procedure while continuing to disagree with it. However, on passage of the National Webspace Bill can the government give a commitment at least act on the authority this provides to contract for web hosting services somewhere-so citizens have the National Register of Law and constitution to hand?
The Webspace Bill as it stands leaves somewhat ambiguous the nature of parliamentary authorisation involved in the process-by design, Tuisch'ach. A simple one line bill should suffice, but I leave this to the consideration of more knowledgeable parliamentarians.
