The "cancer that is killing Talossa" in the catchphrase of the Deputy, is the constant circling of the issue of capitulation to the Kingdom-and thats what we're talking about. If we want to park this issue once and for all, how about a simple law that refuses all talks on fusion between the Talossas until at minimum the Kingdom extends us formal recogition. If Woolley and Co suddenly decide to act like grown-ups, then I think there can be a genuine conversation along the lines of what Dp Schivâ is suggesting. Otherwise its all just sentimentalist One Talossa guilt-tripping that our political class seems alarmingly vulnerable to. Until our existence is recognised, and we are treated as genuine partners in the Talossan project, there can be no serious discussion of amalgamation. Cooperation would be nice, but the evidence suggests that the Kingdom with its greater human resources, proposes, and we accept. Or not. And our choice is largely irrelevant. Lets get that particular problem up the list of priorities, rather than proposing hypothetical laws which provide roadmaps to destinations that are patently unreachable short of dramatic personality changes in Abbavilla! ================================ I have never had a King.
