I seem to remember that Dermot proposed a fallback clause that would bring back the provisional constitution (or at least, one head of the state and an open assembly of all citizens for legislation) if we become to few to keep this chamber of parliament alive...

Estimat Seneschál, such a discussion has not been held on one of our public forums. HINT HINT.

Then I think we should hold such a discussion soon. What about an amendment of the Constitution which says that if at election time there are not enough candidates to fill all seats of the CoD, the CoD will be suspended for one term and instead a General Assembly of all Citizens will become the legislative body of the Republic for that term?

Estimat Seneschál, I think it's bad practice to discuss fundamental changes to the way our constitution works in the last month of the Chamber. Surely these weighty matters can wait until a new Chamber assembles in a month's time.

Soon, on the scale of our average speed, may be anytime during the term of the next CoD, esteemed Deputy.
