No pussyfooting or messing about - simple majority wins, but whoever wins both forums will be kept "alive" in case we change our minds later.
I'll draft the bill if the Pres and/or PM approve.

Could we have a simple consequence analysis carried out first? Or will that be part of the campaigning before/during the referendum? I don't oppose a referendum, anyway. We should have one before we move, if we move.
Simple question; sorry my reply wasn't as simple.

We'll have to discuss the issue anyway. Wittenberg XI is funded by MP; "Wittenberg E" is presently funded by Andy, as far as I understand the situation. The differences lie
a) in the accessibility of administration tools, or the lack thereof;
b) hopefully, in the possibility of providing a subforum that could be opened for all passers-by, or the lack thereof;
c) a comfortable GUI for the administrators, or the lack thereof;
d) a, howsoever, "modern" look-and-feel of the board, or the lack thereof.
Then there is the issue of how to save the database of Wittenberg XI, how to keep it browsable for all after a possible move of "Wittenberg E"; furthermore, the "backupability" of the new software, and how to keep the databases of this software accessible for all.
Honestly, I didn't do as much "research" in the technical issues as I possibly should have been doing. I guess I can already safely say that I'm not and will never be a good board administrator.

Discussing issues to death is the cancer which is killing this Republic. We have these long discussions - in the Government as elsewhere - which kind of peter out with no action being taken.I believe that minds will only be concentrated on "concentration" or "consequence analysis" by an impending referendum. Otherwise we might never come to a decision.
So unless I get a direct request not to by either Prez or PM by tomorrow, I'm proposing a referendum bill to the Chamber.

Tomorrow went by several times, while this forum here had been deep-frozen. In the mean time I got an email from Andy on the status of talossaweb.org which reads:
"If the government ever wants to move the site to another domain, I'll happily supply the database for it. Likewise, should the government wish to own the talossaweb domain, it's theirs for the asking.
Have fun!
A."
So let's have the referendum and get over with it.
