For more than a year now I have been pushing an idea for our national currency. I ask the President and Seneschál to therefore make it official, now, via XO:

The monetary unit of the Talossan Republic shall be the itrì, divided into 100 etâs. It shall be valued at one gramme of silver, as measured at http://www.e-gold.com/currentexchange.html. This definition may be changed from time to time by Executive Order.

The valuation is entirely arbitrary, since I am not pushing the "hard currency" plan at the moment, so you guys can change that if you want. The only reason I'm not putting this to the Chamber is that there's far too much there at the moment and I think the Speaker is losing track as it stands.

What say you, Mr Seneschál? I have no objections.

The name of the currency is a good name, and the silver value will hopefully do us no harm... so publish it, Mr. President, and I'll countersign it.
