Ián Txaglh Group: citizens (462 posts total) (last post: March 24, 2008 - 14:06) | dear colleagues, ministers, i would like to ask you to give me yr opinion about how to proceed with the ACGT.
ACGT apparently hasn't fulfilled expectations of some l'icastolâ members, that since founding of ACGT, all the language development, brushing etc will be done (exclusivelly) on this forum, as it effectively means merging the language organisations in talossa. on contrary, our partners in CÚG had decided to go on their own wheels not really seeking a consensus, rather asking non-committal questions if we like smth they propose or not. procedurally, if the new arestadâ is still issued by CÚG, rather than ACGT, it seems that even we contribute, the sense of ACGT in fact is null and void - it is not really needed. in fact, it is said that CÚG is open to anyone, as it is not political organisation (so as l'icastolâ is not), so why any ACGT?
i was many times asked, what a minister has to do with ACGT if it is supposed to be non-political organisation. well, as far as i am both, member of l'icastolâ and minister of language, i have eminent interest on it. take in account, that ACGT should be also one outcome of mutual friendship agreement in talossa (no TREATY, of course), ie. so, a bit official thing.
by now, i am not convinced that ACGT is worth to exist.
1) CÚG behaves independently and needs in fact no ACGT
2) ACGT under such condition would be formal chit-chat forum
3) l'icastolâ is mostly interested, if in anything, in a concerted development of el glheth rather than in dialectisation, so ACGT should serve as the only language authority.
if you have better pros or cons, tell me, i think we need to close this chapter soon.
