Eric Kildow | I've actually got something sitting half-finished on the loom in my living room that I had been planning on making a gift to the Republic either on Talossa day or Independence Day, depending on when it is finished. Though it is not a sash, I think it is rather attractive (personal bias, of course).
As opposed to a sash, it is an academic style hood, roughly equivalent in length to a doctoral hood in length but wider in band. I am also working on a 4-star fabric applique to be applied to the front, roughly at the midpoint of the sternum. It is red/green bicolour along its length. I'll try to get a picture soon, but my camera finally gave up the ghost.
I just toss that out there as an idea, since I've got it about half-made. Even if not officially adopted, I still intend on giving it to the Republic for some purpose or another.
