Wait a second, Ms Miestrâ, before you depart, heading for new exciting duties (I'll support your candidacy for the job of the SoS, no doubt about this):
What's with the loose ends of two ongoing immigration procedures, will you inform me or another successor of how things are standing today? Will you pass on all documents that may have been brought to your attention in the wake of the procedure? Will you tell our two prospectives whom to talk to now, given they are still interested in getting on with their application for citizenship?
As for a quick decision, GV, would you accept to become our interim Immigration Minister, posthaste? I might put on the chequered hat of the Trappings of Nationhood Minister then, for the few days of the term that is running out already.

I have heard nothing from prospective citizens LaCoste or Ding since the last time you heard anything about them. I will of course forward their email addresses to my successors, beacuse that's all I've received from either of them.
