Those sooper-sekrit powers are Admin rights to the board. They inlude:
* getting a mail when someone registers an account (I think)
* being able to edit the Terms of usage; "Registration to our forum is reserved for..." (hmm, never noticed that before - you should do that)
* Creating new fora (never tried that)
* Edit the names and decriptions of fora (not including setting viewing privs)
* Delete users
* Change user status (prospective/friend/citizen)
* Delete entire threads
I'll make you Admin now.
