Meiner Treu, was für eine eigentümlich wuchernde Sprache ist dies? Mittelalterliches Anglais?

I'm thinking we should stick to Victorian English, rather than medieval English. I just have a fondness for such speech that aims to offend through intellectualness. :-)

We did not suggest that your speech was medieaval English, Sir. It has been purposeful semi-invective, wrapped into a question, in Television-Frederician German. ;-)

This I understood. Thanks to the modern marvel-miracle of Babelfish, I was quite able to discern your meaning. Your ambiloquousness does not match my altiloquence.

    I noticed. ;-)
