    Where we are? Where we are is apprently s:reu Asmoûr is going to talk to me via email about finalising the ACGT constitution. I'm happy with that, but I will also want to talk about getting together a joint approach to Teach Yourself lessons. It appears that s:reu Sierviciul does not like the idea of a joint approach and seems to prefer that Kingdom and Republic do their own thing, which I think flies in the face of everything that we wanted to set up the ACGT to discuss. If there's not going to be at least some co-operation over Teach Yourself stuff, then the whole idea of an ACGT is a complete waste of time because it will do nothing and mean even less.

    If s:reu Asmoûr is reading this, please email me so we can have words.

    :-D if it would be english, it would like that:

    do we need such kinda co-operation in such an important matter? i doubt... how would look the co-operation in less important matters?

    btw, is it really SO bad talossan? s:reu siervicül understands my tongue quite good... *confusado*

    The whole reason I was interested in the ACGT was for real, serious, important co-operation. If we're not going to work together on language reform, and we're not going to work together on Teach Yourself materials, exactly what is the point of cross-border co-operation? What is the point of the ACGT?

    The important thing right now is that there be Teach Yourself Talossan materials. If the Kingdom Ladîntsch don't want us to be involved in their project, then making our own materials would be a ridiculous duplication of effort, and we should do something else.

    that is exactly my point. so, we agree on it.

    i would oppose here. if CÚG wants not collaborate in this matter, we should prepare our stuff. how we can be sure their stuff will be available for us too? they are secretive either cos they do not want to share or they want be credited solely for it or they think we are not worth partners. none of these keeps the spirit of ACGT. else, i see no other rational reason for not working on it together. plus, none of these assures we will have an access to the once made materials.

    I agree with Miestrâ, that we should avoid duplication of effort. Let us assume that their TYT will be freely available. This is one of the points where Ben differed from the rest of the Talossan community, I cannot for a moment believe that the CÚG are going down Ben's path.
