Even if not a classical latin mode, the conditional is a common feature of romance languages. Reforms with the objective to introduce the subjective (that I wholly support), should not forget the conditional as well.

I agree on every proposals of you, except one. And one remark.

    > A4b. Verbs of No Doubt (non duvitarh) should not take the subjunctive, but rather, the indicative, as they expressing "no doubt" and the subjunctive is all about doubt.
    >
    > Ex. 5
    > Non duvitéu qe o moartarha.
    > I don't doubt that he will die.

I don't agree on this one. "Non duvitarh" is the same verb "duvitarh", not a different verb, and it's seem to me quite non-rational that the same verb should require a different mood when preceeded by "non". I agree that a (unique) "no-doubt" verb has to require the indicative, but a
"doubt" verb always requires the subjunctive, because it doesn't matter if it's used in affirmative or neagative form, it still remains a "doubt" verb.

    > A6. The use of the subjunctive (without the "qe") in the "if" clauses, as a conditional, and in those stock phrases shall continue.

This could be a feature of Talossan. And in that I agree. However it's strange that we do not make difference among hypothetical sentences.

    :-P

Thank you all for your warm "welcome back". Yes, I'm alive and I've continued to vote in those months... However, I'm "culturally" back, so let's share your opinion on this one.

Isn't it easier to copy and paste here than to write a message asking people to go to a completely different message board?
